Amós Bañeres
Originally a pharmacist in Barcelona, he moved to the Penedès region in 2011 and began winemaking career with 5.5 hectares of vineyards that belonged to his mother's family. Thus he got to older plantings of local varieties such as Macabeu, Parellada or Xarel-lo. Wine is aged in clay amphorae or small oak barrels. Amós' wines are therefore playful and do not lack elegance and freshness. Nothing added, nothing taken away, that's how you could summarize his philosophy.
