Leopold Uibel - OMG N.V.
Weinviertel | orange, dry |
An orange rocket into the world of Leopold Uibel’s wines.
A spontaneously fermented Veltliner that spent a full ten days on the skins. Spicy and fruity, with a beautiful texture where yellow apple seamlessly intertwines with fine tannins. An uncomplicated wine that takes the stance of “come join us.”

Leopold Uibel make wine since 2007 in Ziersdorf, on the western edge of Weinviertel, focusing on wines that faithfully reflect the terroir and character of the local vineyards. The history of his vineyards dates back to 1220, though it is believed to stretch even further, to the Celts. The winery operates biodynamically according to DEMETER principles, with utmost respect for nature and a commitment to maintaining the balance between fauna and flora. The result is authentic, just wild enough wines.
