Porta del Vento

Porta del Vento is the project of the charismatic Marco Sferlazzo, a former pharmacist who creates some of the most exciting wines in Sicily in the high hills above the village of Camporeale near Palermo. The steep vineyards at over 600 metres above sea level, which are constantly under the pressure of strong winds, on sandy soils, produce very interesting grapes every year, which Marco transforms with his own meticulous care into polished and characterful wines.
