Radikon
Radikon - a huge name in the world of natural wines!
In 1995, Stanko Radikon was the first in Oslavia to produce orange wine from the Ribolla Gialla variety using intensive maceration without any additives. He was immediately followed by other winemakers and the modern age of orange wine started. Winery lies on the border of Slovenia and Italy. Today, the winery is led by Stanko's son Saša. Wines of Radikon family represent the absolute top of this wine style. You can find them all over the world's best restaurants. Distinctive, rich in flavor, aromatic, deep amber color, macerated on skins up to 4 months and aged for many years in large oak barrels without added sulfur - these are unique wines from the main line, which you will certainly not confuse with anything else. Wines of easier range such as Slatnik are macerated "only" for a few days and represent a rather fresh style of orange wines, yet they are complex and very drinkable. The vineyards are spread over 11 hectares and lie on a marl subsoil. Production is very limited.
