The first official vintage for Jakub Novák was in 2012, but the wines of this young winemaker from the Znojmo region are so distinctive, complex and still “glou glou” that they ranked among the most interesting in Moravia in no time.
Jakub has less than two hectares of vineyards. Everything is done with the help of his family and same goes for the cellar, with production of just a few thousand bottles every year. All wines are aged in oak or acacia barrels of various ages and origins. Most of the production is consumed at the best Czech restaurants, but you can find Jakub's wines in New York, Copenhagen and London as well.
