Dario Prinčič
The charismatic Dario Prinčič lives in the northern Italian village of Oslavia (Slovenian Oslavje) near the border with Slovenia. You can see him always with a smile and a cigarette in his hand, and great respect for nature, following old methods of winemaking he adopted from his ancestors.
Dario has a reputation as a rebel who went against mainstream, together with Stanko Radikon and Joško Gravner, started the orange wine revolution in Europe. It took him some time, but eventually he made it in star wine lists of best restaurants in the world, success very well deserved. Today, only a few thousand bottles a year are sold at the speed of light and enjoyed in top restaurants and bars.
