De Quarto
Antonio and Roberta De Quarto don’t follow trends – they return to their roots. The winery as we know it today is the result of five generations of hard work. A turning point came in 2004 when they had their first "natural" harvest. Today, they cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards in Lizzano, a small town in the province of Taranto, where vines have been grown since ancient Greek times. Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Fiano here undergo spontaneous fermentation, without unnecessary chemicals, with the utmost respect for nature.
In a region dominated by quantity, De Quarto focuses on quality – each bottle is a tribute to the Apulian terroir as it once was.
