If you are new to white Riojas, start with this one. As is usual with Bideona winery, this one is perfectly balanced and, thanks to the high altitude of the vineyards, also bracingly fresh. The aromas are reminiscent of yellow fruit and floral notes, and the delicacy is a result of the limestone soil.
The man behind the Bideona winery is Tao Platón, an oenologist with experience in Bordeaux, Burgundy and New Zealand. Drawing from all this knowledge and techniques, he aspires to lead Bideona towards the path of sustainable and authentic winemaking. The winery pays homage to its region, contributing to a new generation of wines that identify more with their origin than the processing methods typical of Rioja in recent decades. As a result, Bideona produces wines that embody the pure heritage of the beautiful Rioja region without any compromise.
