WINES
What is natural wine?
We sell wines that we like to drink ourselves. They are called natural, organic, biodynamic, sustainable... Simply said, they don't contain chemical nonsense, reflect terroir and are made ethically.
This is also the reason why they are served in the best restaurants in the world - for example, in Noma - Denmark, Eleven Madison Park in New York or Arpège in France.
Why we love it?
The grapes are not chemically sprayed and artificial fertilizers are not used. The key is biodiversity in the vineyard, living soil and a responsible grower. Grapes are usually grown in organic, biodynamic or even more environmentally friendly mode (with or without certification).
Natural wines ferment spontaneously - the winemaker only ensures a clean environment and conditions for aging. The rest is done only by indigenous yeasts and other microorganisms, so no further intervention is needed.
They also do not contain unnecessary additives. Most of these wines are made without the influence of added yeasts. None contain artificial enzymes, clarifiers and other “cosmetic” products or other unnecessary unhealthy additives and manipulations. The only exception is a little SO2, which may or may not be added to the wine for preservation, but in much smaller quantities than allowed by law.
The beauty of natural wines is in the intensity of taste, purity and sometimes unpredictability - they can be clear or cloudy, fine or rough, shy or wild. And as a bonus: in the morning there's a smaller chance of headache.
